good evening and welcome Kennedy High School winter concert my name is Rick Nickerson I need district coordinator for 12 on a job that's been really exist for being here tonight and we thank you for your cooperation let's get ready to the chase nobody like wearing masks however where is masks enables us to have a live performance and if you've been around the last while we have our musical Mamma Mia American family holiday concerts concert tonight sports are up and running so we're starting to feel like things are a bit more normal self shoot from agree with me if we have a choice between having a live concert and having nothing but we'll do the concert was not so appreciate your cooperation seems kind of surreal tonight that has been here for three years this is her second concert and her first Winter concert two years ago in the snow. and you said you were hit especially hard because our programs as you I'm sure we're all aware or nonexistent we actually had to change what we teach and spell performing performing live so important to rebuild our programs it's so important that these students have the opportunity to perform with a live audience thank you for being here and I appreciate that we're all spread out and trying to stay as safe as possible welcome we're glad to be back I think you can be very rude I'm thrilled for you here for these kids have been working so hard and it just so I went to high school in Catherine Park hi everyone thank you so much for coming out tonight it is so great to be back for pouring out today my last concert here was in March of 2019 I think so it's been awhile and we are very excited to be back unfortunately Frost tonight our students basis is absent so we have mr. Charlie Workman has joined us tonight a lot of our students had Mr ordinance as a teacher with a yellow Turtles very exciting to us what happened back on stage should be performing with us for the next two pieces thanks again for coming out thank you I just roll with it and thank you again for coming out tonight I know it's a tough time of year we don't even know on any given day so I just can't thank you for coming out and have a wonderful holiday and we'll see you back here in concerts in March so it may not be better
