welcome to the Middle High School in rap talent show is Julia I'm going to your house for tonight and I'm the president of the club we just weiner involve her best friend like that we do our own community service on Hudson Drive to the soup kitchen just random acts of light service I guess is kind of what we do we're really laid-back start tonight off for an energy star jackets all right so to start a song we're going to have Waylon McDonald and Scooby singing something for us tonight gen 53 text Rob's Good Times bad. Jeep Renegade Superman I think you might just be the cutest ever say that before the show I noticed that you chose your background of your writing because the complement of your shirt and I noticed it and also I want to say when the acoustic kind of kicked it on your guitar like that can really turn you off and you just kept going like you said you did a good job try guys want to come in on your excellent country looking country feel and I think you were really unique authentic tone and sound of your voice that really kind of makes it your own song really has tell me some of the challenges that came up on you just kept right on going excellent job Laura Goodwin 2018 you are so I'll be able to go to go to work how much of the Joke is on You so you want to come over here I have a question for you did you mash all the songs together like you just figured out how to put them all together so it's like it's like a mash-up that exists already I thought that was really cool I've never heard that before and I think that's really challenging to try to do like a lot of songs in one and like make it work and I suggest a really great job you're welcome I was really impressed as well it's not easy music to sing to and you did an excellent job so it's really nice I see kind of that Slayer that you added to it of your own I'm really adding kind of your own personality to the music as well so excellent job all right and next up we will have Brian Greer performing Lose Yourself I can honestly say I've never seen something like that before that was really awesome all right and now it's time for some comments from our judges okay so first on a style tip I really love your gear you you dress the part I come you guys didn't see it his sweatshirt is also an M&M sweatshirt and hat he's got the whole thing going so your style game is on point I love that always going to put sweater on good and I also say that I'm big Eminem fan actually and I love that song and I thought that was really cool I've also have never seen anything like it and I think it's super cool that you have that camera to have videotaped everything good job who doesn't love hand puppets I mean honestly everybody has fun with that so I just I love the the song Choice brings it back to high school little bit I just little bit and just the cream tivity that you have with the fact that you made with the M&M name matching your gear definitely has your personality in it and I can tell you had a lot of fun with it as well so thank you so much for sharing that with us and next we have someone who is that a friend of the stage for a long time Alex Noble this is Acapella by the way there's a God that just how you live inside your eyes wide open 4 hours ahead it's awesome trash I have a ride cuz John understand is I catch a grenade for you that's on my hands on all day so yeah this is just what you offer to smile Apex Auto Chattanooga had it softer than the trash is all I have a rise cuz what you don't understand is I catch a grenade for ya yes I would die for you baby but you won't do the same thanks yo I don't know if that's on sometime for the comments are my charges on Nelson signs before I can handle this handle this so that I wrote down that I really want you to know is your confidence I seen you do the do the talent show and number of years now and I was freaking crying so I knew you were so much more confident it's a really hard thing to stand on the stage you don't have a guitar in front of Eden have background music is just you and your isn't it takes a lot of bravery and I'm super impressed with how you've handled that this year you're so much more confident thank you and I'll look on top of that you know you don't have to deal with the pain in the butt about skiing. To CJ and she's you're right. And I'll stress of failing physics I don't need to deal with this but yeah yeah he got the point but yeah I think he misses her and I appreciate that kind of your emotion as you sing yeah really putting kind of your body language and feeling into the music that you're saying is well also your range Alex was really impressive and really hit those musical notes I've had this way since like eighth grade a totally planted in 7th grade fence irrelevant but I'm anyways because I have a deeper voice get limits my options for songs sound like a dying rat well and he was pretty pretty braids Siri well thank you so much alright so if I give it to you all right so next up we're going to have Mackenzie Daigle singing can't cut it happy birthday Mom surely to the Sea Shirley Caesar thanks for Kenzie also sorry I totally botched like the name of that song by finger was covering the paper inside but so as you can tell she saying can't help falling in love with me that's why is the Sun so let's get some comments for my touches Max Max is my favorite did you know that she told me earlier so I have a couple of things written down the first being I can't spell ukulele but I love the ukulele that's what that is right and I love that you played that that's awesome that's not a Bantu I know the banjo this and I can spell being so and I was thinking I wrote down is there's a very sweet quality to your voice that's like very endearing and I I I very much enjoyed it I like tell you to the classic song but you put your own play stand on it and I really like your phrasing choices that you made the to change the song up a little bit I think it's a great job also your makeup is on point I can also spell ukulele word of the week I'm really impressed with just how I felt like your music brings Joy I felt like everyone kind of got quiet and just you know that the calming presence kind of over the audience with also a kind of a happy quality so that was really nice that you were able to share that with all of us and then just the tone of your voice with the ukulele it's a great mix that I feel really compliments you and in your skills thank you for sharing all right and up next we have Matt Madina naat Madina who will be performing some calming for us what is the difference between A well-dressed man on a bike and a poorly Dressed Man on a unicycle attire Casino don't laugh and it was really just the most people sing out there and there's a just comes up to I'm joking around my friends really are you trying funny I don't even know this girl's name and she's there it was so detrimental I just had to go home and cry and then like 2 weeks later wag so I don't get any that's it what about this girl by you know giving her name so you guys are gone know when I say her name is chili I mean true name is Morgan I said I don't want to out her I mean if you have any information on her please meet me after the show we have to talk man I hope that the perfectly said wade into my subject for this evening cycle gargantuan none of that I'm calling them tall I'm calling them shapes I was doing The Little Mermaid play what you didn't see it yet lost out and there's a senior that's why why and he is so tall has a beard like this guy should have a guest pass it so I confront him on it like what are you doing said that he's a senior text Sam what a guy transitions are weird is 1 ply toilet paper who was that made for every school is going to have including the high school it's never gotten any better I swear a cobweb would work better I'm going during class are going to be Speedy you know if I don't go all the bleeding out of my bum so I go in there I start wiping and now I have a fist full of crap not much do it myself I'm glad you laughing hope you all have a good night let me just say we were all busting a got back staged his Burton still is a p I literally have no idea how to follow that so I have a couple of things written down transitions or weird is probably my favorite thing because you said it right after I wrote down great segue it was so great that you pointed out to all of us I really like that and then as soon as I wrote that down here like so weird so I done that I just think that you don't even need our commentary because people were laughing through the whole thing I think like you made a face and people laughed so obviously successful as a comedian and I think there's a gentleman in the front row was crying so great a good way looking to like laughing crying kind of way you know I think you summarized a couple things about high school pretty accurately and Max I really want to do everything I can do to make High School better so I'll try to make sure that the toilet paper gets into our budget conversations next year for you I can concur it's a little challenging sometimes wishing your tone and your delivery in the flexion your voice was just awesome just really made everything Flo Rida long and I want to commend you for coming up with really what is some awesome original material so thanks for sharing that is awesome our next contestant will be Dimitri Pope and he will be singing Shotgun Ginger Zee Clapping like you've been doing this for years so 10 out of 10 very good job I really like your tone it's in the lower register it's like so clear and very sweet and I really like that I feel like your confidence has been since the last time I saw you perform and that's a sing for me like you want to watch people who are feeling what they're doing and I could tell that you were feeling it so is awesome I thought it was great how you going to stop playing the guitar it still felt like you were playing the guitar so it really just everything kept proud of wild animals having fun so really bringing some excitement and joy to us and I just love your song choice that might be one of my favorite songs that I hope no one sees me when I'm driving down the road and I'm hiding my Smite sunglasses on and I'm singing along so ceiling joist all right so next we have teddy has a pellets and Rosie Haven a duet in G minor all right now it's time for the comments are my judges okay so I was so interested you're doing that I didn't actually write anything down yet but I love you little Trill at the end and little known fact I've always wanted to play the violin and my parents said no so I played the flute instead so how we so I would like to say one thing that I noticed is it's hard enough to get up here and do something on your own but to have to be in tune with the other person and know like trust that they're going to be on the same page with you the whole time is really hard to do and I love that you guys I think you did a great job at that and it was very entertaining obviously because I just watched and didn't write anything good job I like your outfit I think it I think it adds the presents so I like the outfit beautiful sound you guys just absolutely beautiful I love how it started off slow and then picked it up at the end and it was really being as close I could see your communication with another kind of watching you know your eyes looking at your music so really an excellent job being able to be in unison in the crate that amazing sound thank you all right and next Subway Danny shine will be singing When We Were Young boutonniere it was just like a song When We Were Young are there any thank you so much that was awesome and we were ready for a, too much has so one of my Favorite Things is that one. Comes out she says what she's trying to say three times and you guys maybe can't hear it because I don't work so I have a couple I appreciate that a couple of notes for besties that I want to say I'm so many things I want to say to you first of all Adele oh my God you are brave you're so brave and you did such a good job with it like really crazy good I loved that it fell you were taking us on this journey and it was like soft and a sweet and then you were like all these big notes out of nowhere and like you were like very unafraid to just do it and I love that Fearless iroh Donna also wrote Brave and I also wrote a doll look like 12! And also my first Goose use of the night so congratulations Dodge City attract right I love that your hair back the background that that just admitted to that I was awesome so I have one word to kind of summarize how I felt about that and it is wow wow your expression your voice control we're not off of beat and there were some challenging ranges to hitting that phenomenal absolutely phenomenal so thank you for that amazing version thank you so much all right before we start our next time we're going to sweep the stage for a minute but while we wait we're going to ask some questions who are Judges summer Spartan you said you were doing this for about five years dinner at talent show which we very much appreciate and we were wondering what it like play something like super cooler like very like this strange I don't know like talent that you've liked seen in a center at talent show all my God I've seen all of the talent I remember when a couple of years I was juggling like someone's going to juggle and then she juggled and it was ridiculous and I don't know if any of you have ever seen Alex Tom's juggle but it's like a whole show it's like I don't know like the Electric Light Orchestra behind him and things flying a it's super cool so even things that I'm like like really just like a thing which I did not know before the interact talent show and sounds crazy dancing and singing and now puppet show which I've never seen that before so I'm it's in is so interesting and keeps me coming back for more Avis Mishu have you ever just a towel shelf before is my first for sure and this is just it's been awesome I'm really impressed How brave and confident are students are that I am having a hard time sitting here talking to a microphone this is like nerve-wracking for me so to do you know just their talents and not be afraid to share that I'm really thankful that I get to beat you a part of this tonight's awesome Dennis me should you have any talents that a student should know about wasn't gifted in that area very I can play like three songs on the piano I can be creative when needed but I'm not really anything did Cher. You know I might want to pick up something after tonight so the puppet show might be along my skill level that I could do so many trucks learn a few things maybe I'll work on that in my office when I get bored during the day Emmitsburg on anything any talents that we should know about I mean I do see your daughter some of you have been to see me you can't see my lunch. Not really Allen Show person I am a very talented human being just in General Tso thank you so and our last Act of the night is to be my amazing friend Maddie who's going to be doing that her dance her solo one day I like Monday all right judges here we go goodnight guys so second Newsies so that's good and so I've never actually been on stage when someone is doing a dance like that close I'm always like in the audience or used between the back and I could like hear you when you would like let out of breath and then I was like I wish I wish the audience could hear it cuz they're coming far away because it's like so much part of like the picture you were painting but then I you and like you can see it like even if you couldn't hear it like those breasts were like eating your movement that was super cool like thank you for doing that I think that was awesome I could really feel the emotion what your do did you choreograph file yourself at Super impressive though just I don't know if you guys could hear even the movements on the floor it's really amazing to see how you flow with the gravity is pulling against you it's amazing how you just seem to kind of floaters for I'm so really had an excellent emotion and your movements were just phenomenal nicely done all right we're going to scan take a few minutes and like thank our judge pictures of I want to give it a great a big round of applause so I just for coming out tonight and we're going to take about 5 to 10 minute intermission just to like to give the minutes to give the judges a minute to delegate and likes dark tonight yeah hello my name is Ronald so yes I am Miss Reynolds I am interact Club advisor for the Windham high school we are a service-based program and tonight event was a fundraiser in order to give one of our graduating seniors who is in a lot of community service this year the opportunity to win scholarships of thank you for your donations and your admission and that's going to help support a senior when they leave Windham High School to continue doing the awesome things that they do so we should give a round of applause for that scholarship I also really like to extend a huge thank you to CJ and Avery in our sound booth they got an awesome job they were here for Tech rehearsal and they were here early to help us set up and that's really awesome I also want to thank our interact volunteers a lovely ladies at the table sewing brownies and cookies in and taking your money thank you again for your time so they take their time to go out into the community and find ways to help out and I'd really like to thank Delia for being an awesome and see you tonight so she is going to announce our winners so we apologize that it took so long it was a really really tough decision and because we're such a tough decision we ended up having an otter bonerable a storm at Medina look forward to hearing your next next year about your next issue we'll have a little prize for you again later all right so this was a very tough decision and it was very very close but in third place we have Danny Shine for her amazing vocals and his emotional stage congratulations Danny all right all right and in second place we have Maddie Fox because of her the Goosebumps she gave the judges in the emotion in her presence on the stage and our winner for tonight for his amazing stage presence and it just over the top and overall amazing performance is Dimitri Pope so stay right there guys best way to make sure we acknowledge the amazing talent and bravery and courage that everyone did to get up here and put themselves out here and show some amazing talent so take that positive energy that everyone was able to share with us today how's your weekend and can we just take a minute to give a huge round of applause for Miss Reynolds for helping us I really putting this whole thing together and just being an amazing like a visor for a club so yeah congratulations guys and if you'll stay here we're going to take pictures
