Standards/PIs:  Students can compare and contrast a function and a relation using their properties. Students can find the domain and range of a function and a relation. Students can identify and describe the parts of a graph.

Essential Questions:  How can functions describe real-world situations, model predictions, and solve problems? How are the properties of real numbers useful when solving equations and simplifying expressions? 

Standards/PIs:  Students will be able to write functions in various forms, including graphs, tables, and equations. Students will understand solving equations as a process of reasoning and explain the reasoning.
