Essential Questions:  How can budgeting help you achieve your financial goals?

Standards/PIs:  Economics: I can evaluate the different strategies of money management. I can adjust my budget by analyzing different types of spending

Student Assignments: “Living Paycheck to Paycheck” Interactive Questions (Due by Wednesday). Minimum Wage vs. Living Wage (Due by Thursday). Prepare for unit assessment next Monday.

Standards/PIs:  Civic Engagement: I can consider multiple points of view and prioritize the pros and cons of those views to draw conclusions. History: I can trace the development of enduring themes and evaluate their impact on societal issues and trends.

Student Assignments: Tracing reasons for immigration to America - then and now (Due by Wednesday). Immigration mapping analysis (Due in class Wednesday). Immigration laws timeline (Due next Monday).
