About Me

As you can see from the photos, I am a fan of being outside, whether it be camping, hiking, bicycling, or cross-country skiing.  We are currently in the middle of moving from Portland's West End to a 50-acre property in Hollis which will be a big shift for us, but allow me to spend more time gardening and learning how to raise chickens and goats.  I spent many years as a professional theater director in Portland, creating a company called Acorn Productions that presented new plays by local playwrights as well as Shakespeare productions.  This is my fifth year at Windham after 3 years teaching incarcerated youth at the Long Creek Youth Development Center. I began my education career at Sacopee Valley High School in 2000 where I spent 4 years teaching drama before moving to Gorham High School where I taught English. I recently received my MSEd in Educational Leadership from USM and am a certified public school building administrator.
