Current Unit: Finding Your Spark 

Essential Questions:  

This odd rotation we will be focusing on the essential questions: 

~What is my spark? 

~How can an area of interest develop into a formal, sophisticated research project? 

Standards:  

Research Standard: Students will conduct research projects to solve a problem, develop a position on an issue, or address a question

Speaking & Listening Standard: This student can participate effectively in a range of collaborative discussions as well as can present information that conveys a clear and distinct perspective at grade level proficiency.

    • Review project explanation 
    • Review Senior Capstone Project

    • Watch the “Sparks Matter: Finding Your Spark” video 
    • Watch “5 Rules to Follow as You Find Your Spark" & take notes 
    • Complete ONE of the brainstorming activities 
      • Letter to 25-year-old self
      • Pack your suitcase w/ 10 items ONLY 
      • Answer these questions 
      • Create vision board 
  2. Fill out Capstone Proposal 
  3. Complete “My Spark RESEARCH Week 1” Google Form
