3) I can analyze the physical, human, and environmental geography of Maine, the United States, and various regions of the world
Student Assignments: 1. Photo analysis of Civil Rights Era 2. Short research project on topic regarding the Civil Rights Era in US History.

Standards/PIs: I can compare and contrast the ideals and purposes of the founding documents. I can compare and contrast the purposes, structures and functions of constitutional governments.
Student Assignments: Document Analysis for Mini-Q essay regarding the Enlightenment Philosophers. Writing assignment on the main goals of the Enlightenment Philosophers.
