3) I can analyze the physical, human, and environmental geography of Maine, the United States, and various regions of the world

Student Assignments: Summative Assessment on the causes of the Civil War. (9/21 Group A & 9/22 Group B) US Map Assessment (9/23 Group A & 9/24 Group B) Graphic Organizer Concerning Amendments involved with slavery

  1. What role does individual freedom play in a society?
  2. How has individual freedom evolved throughout modern history?
  3. How important is individual freedom in a modern society?

Standards/PIs:  I can compare and contrast the ideals and purposes of the founding documents. I can compare and contrast the purposes, structures and functions of constitutional governments.

Student Assignments: Graphic Organizers about the DOI and the Bill of Rights. Scavenger Hunt due 9/21 and 9/22. Assessment on DOI and Constitution 9/23 and 9/24.
