Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year!

On behalf of the staff of Windham High School, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome each of you to the 2019/2020 school year.  I hope that all of you had a safe and relaxing summer with family and friends that has been filled with memories that will last for years to come.

Another school year is just around the corner.  The custodians have been busily cleaning everything in sight, the office has been filled with countless packages, and pre-season athletics will be starting soon.  The beginning of school is a great time of year.  It is a time of new beginnings, goal setting, aspirations, and a time to reflect on the year that was just completed.   As we begin this upcoming school year, take some time aside to talk to your student about their goals for the upcoming year and what they would like to accomplish. Also, encourage your student to become involved in one of the many clubs, sports, and activities that are offered at Windham High School.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome the parents and students of the class of 2023 and all of the families that are new to the communities of Windham and Raymond.  We are looking forward to meeting all of you and want to ensure that you have a successful transition into the building.  Tuesday, September 3rd will be the first day of school for only the incoming freshman class. The first day of school for students in grades 10 through 12 will be Wednesday, September 4th.  Here is the link to the school calendar: 2019 - 2020 School Calendar

Students at Windham High School are issued a Mac Air laptop to use for their classes.  Information about purchasing insurance to cover accidental damage was previously sent home.  Please take some time to consider this low-cost protection for your student’s machine.  Computers will be issued to students once insurance forms have been returned to your student’s advisor.

Open House is scheduled for September 11th at 6:00 PM.  Please mark this date on your calendar.  The evening is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the classes that your student will be participating in over the upcoming year.

During the first few days of school your student will be bringing home a significant amount of paperwork for your review.  Please take some time to look over the materials that are sent home and return them to us as soon as possible.  Having up-to-date, accurate records is important for the school year.  We appreciate your time in reviewing these materials.

I look forward to seeing and meeting many of you over the upcoming school year.  Please feel free to stop into the office to introduce yourself or just to say hello.

Have a great school year!
